How can Technology be use to stimulate students how are not interesting in education?

Technology is everywhere and therefore it should be use in schools.However just like talk and chalk it must be well planned out to be effective . Like anything new it is exciting but when the newness wears off what then.How can Technology be use to stimulate students how are not interesting in education?

    Just to add another comment on your post. I agree with you that technology should not be used for technology´s safe, but with a pedagogical purpose in mind. This way, it would be something more than a novelty.

    Hello and thank you for inviting me to this blog.
    I think apart from preparing thoroughly for the lesson using technology, we should also consider the fact that technology might not work, or there might be Internet connection problem and we should have some back up.

    Hello all from BAW. Nice blog. I like the background. I agree with Anna. I think we have to be prepared to use other resources in our teaching when we have internet problems. It's frustrating and time consuming if the tech tools don't work or if the students haven't been prepared how to use them. Even a simple PowerPoint presentation should have a back-up plan in place.

    I agree with that. Today my school had an ICT workshop which is using tech in the classroom. Most staff present had thier laptop or netpad and the internet service was slow. This affect the presentation and reminded us we should always have a plan B.
    I had a similar problem last week when the school laptop was not properly shutdown and took a whole period to bootup, Thank I hand done aworksheet for next class that could of use.
